Frequently Asked Questions?

For an accurate quotation, please provide the application, input voltage and frequency, output voltage and current or rated power, preferred dimensions, mounting method, lead wires or terminals, insulation requirements, required certifications and estimated order quantity. If your specifications are incomplete, our engineering team can help define them.

ECKO can customize single or multiple input and output voltages, rated power, operating frequency, voltage regulation, lead wires, terminals and protection components. Every design is reviewed for electrical performance, temperature rise, insulation and safety before sampling.

We can design the transformer to match your PCB layout, pin spacing or available enclosure space. Please provide your PCB drawing, mechanical dimensions, mounting restrictions and connector requirements. We will review the footprint, safety clearances, heat dissipation and manufacturability before issuing a drawing for approval.

Transformers are inspected according to the approved specifications. Routine checks may include dimensions and appearance, winding resistance, turns ratio, no-load voltage and current, load performance, polarity, insulation resistance and Hi-Pot testing. Temperature-rise, leakage, IP-rating and other project-specific tests can also be arranged when required.

The typical lead time for a fully customized transformer sample is 7–10 working days after the specifications and drawings are approved. Existing designs or minor modifications may be completed in 1–3 working days. The exact schedule depends on material availability, tooling, testing and certification requirements.
