High-power toroidal transformers can produce relatively high inrush current during startup. Depending on the application, the transformer design can be optimized to help control inrush current. For high-power amplifier systems, an external soft-start or inrush-current limiting circuit may also be recommended. Please inform us of your amplifier's startup requirements so that we can recommend a suitable solution. |

Toroidal transformers can be manufactured using high-grade CRGO silicon steel cores and copper windings. The insulation system, wire specification, thermal protection, shielding, lead wires, connectors, and mounting accessories can be selected according to the customer's electrical, thermal, safety, and mechanical requirements. |

Temperature rise depends on rated load, input voltage, output current, ambient temperature, enclosure ventilation, transformer dimensions, and the customer's design requirements. For our standard toroidal transformer designs, temperature rise can typically be controlled to ≤65°C under specified test conditions. If your amplifier requires lower temperature rise or continuous high-load operation, we can optimize the transformer accordingly. |
